Ski Mountaineer
http://pawprince.com/
Andrew McLean has been pursuing steep skiing challenges in remote locations for over two decades and has accumulated over 100 first descents. In 2007 he completed a long term quest to capture first descents on all seven continents when he traveled to Morocco to ski in the High Atlas Mountains. McLean’s specialty is ski mountaineering, which involves climbing up peaks before skiing down them. This process allows him to ski mountains where motorized access is forbidden or impractical. His passion for this sport has led to him being voted as one of the “Greatest Skiers of Our Time” by Powder Magazine and a featured segment in the Sony Classic Pictures 2007 film entitled “Steep.”
Outside of skiing, McLean’s interests include design, writing and photography. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, he worked at Black Diamond Equipment for thirteen years, creating products such as the Camalot, wire gate carabiners, Whippet, Peckers and Talon rock hook. His writings and photography have appeared in Skiing, Powder, Backcountry Magazine and numerous outdoor gear catalogs. He lives in Park City, Utah with his wife Polly who holds the world record for the greatest amount of vertical climbed and skied in 24 hours. They have a daughter named Mira, one good dog and one bad dog.

Band
www.thedollyrots.com
http://www.myspace.com/thedollyrots
The Dollyrots-- Kelly Ogden (bass/vocals), Luis Cabezas (guitar) and Chris Black (drums)
Founded by longtime friends Ogden and Cabezas, whose relationship stems back to their eighth-grade Florida middle school days, the Dollyrots assembled as a fun, diversionary tactic while the pair wrapped up their school days. Ogden had just learned to play the guitar and Cabezas, a classically-trained pianist, had just left his band.
Ogden and Cabezas decided it was time to relocate, they decided the City of Angels would become their new home. “It was terrifying and awesome,” Ogden says of the band’s earlier days. “But we found a place that had everything we needed — record labels, venues, other bands. It seemed like the right place.”
It was also the right time — The Dollyrots had assembled its debut, Eat My Heart Out, and self-released the album to rampant success which led to the band getting picked up by Lookout!/Panic Button Records, which re-released Eat My Heart Out in 2004. Raising the band’s stage profile came with a slot on the 2006 Vans Warped Tour, performing alongside a slew of punk acts for six weeks on the Kevin Says and Shira stages throughout the U.S. The tour was important for The Dollyrots since it allowed them to connect with Warped ‘06’s VIP woman, Joan Jett.
Jett took a liking to The Dollyrots and offered to add the band to the roster of her label, Blackheart Records. Excited about their new found home at Blackheart Records, the band is revitalized and road-tightened.
Blackheart Records, started by legendary, Joan Jett, and her long time song writing partner and producer, Kenny Laguna, is a label run on artist integrity from an artist perspective. From the inception of Blackheart, over 25 years ago, the label has been run with one thing in mind, to get great music out into the world no matter what the obstacles may be.

Rock Band
www.halifaxrock.com
Yeah, yeah. You know it already. Halifax can really party. Hell, even the old bag in the cubicle next to you probably knows them from their stint on The Real World Austin. But what’s decidedly more important is that the Thousand Oaks, California-reared quintet’s music translates. Just ask the million plus visitors to the band’s PureVolume page. But better proof lies with the band’s crackling debut album, The Inevitability of a Strange World, which finds frontman Mike Hunau, guitarists Chris Brandt and Adam Charles, bassist Doug Peyton and drummer Tommy Guindon at a distinct advantage over other booze-swilling, excess-extolling rising stars. Sure, many have tried through the years, but few bands have managed to bridge the great divide between rock, punk and metal with their hooks, hearts and hopes in tact quite the same way these electric warriors have.

Singer

Atlanta vocalist Monica debuted in 1995 with the platinum Top Ten singles "Don't Take It Personal (Just One of dem Days)" and "Before You Walk out of My Life." After appearing on LL Cool J's Mr. Smith later that year, she recorded another killer duet with Brandy on "The Boy Is Mine," which spent several weeks at the top of the singles charts during summer 1998. Her second album, also titled The Boy Is Mine, was released in July 1998. She scored a few more chart successes through the following spring, but a long period of silence marked time between albums. The much-delayed After the Storm finally hit stores in the spring of 2003, while the following Makings of Me took three years to materialize. |

Comedian
www.joederosacomedy.com
For some reason stand-up comedy, an art form that encourages self-deprecation, finger pointing, and loathing, fit like a glove for Joe DeRosa. Growing up in a miserable, one-horse town in Pennsylvania, Joe needed an outlet; a way to express his true pessimistic sincerity to the world. After attempting to use music as his mouth piece, playing for over five years with various bands and ensembles, he put down his saxophone, guitar, and drums and picked up a microphone at a local watering hole. Though his first set was a bomb, Joe realized that being utterly alone on stage was where he felt most embraced.
Recently, Joe was invited to join the line-up of Vibe Magazine / Lions Gates Whiteboyz in the Hood, a stand-up comedy series which will be released in spring 2006.
Acting has now become a facet of Joe's career. He is currently shooting the film Hysterical with director Bradley Kaye, in which he plays the lead character, Miles. Joe also landed the principle role as TV Head in an ad campaign for Sports Net New York. In addition, he's combined theatrics and a return to his musical roots with his rap group DEEP, a sexually explicit satire of hip-hoppers such as the 2 Live Crew and N.W.A. DEEP's album The Game Plan will be released spring 2006.
But despite the success in other areas, Joe DeRosas first love will always be stand-up. The simplicity and honesty of the art form is what really fuels his fire. So come on out to a show. Wherever you see him you'll be entertained by his ornery rants on subjects such as dating, religion, and pop culture. |

And I don’t think you should have to compartmentalize passion--I want to sing about it, write about it, and embody it in acting roles. I’m a storyteller, and I want to tell stories that elevate the human condition.” |

My name is Jillian and for the past 2 years, I've been the office manager at a fast paced mortgage company in northeastern New Jersey. I earned my marketing degree at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, where I experienced some of the best times of my life. My life truly came together though, after I was swept off my feet by my loving boyfriend. We're compatible in so many ways, but one major thing we both love to do is going out to bars and having a good time; and when we do, we always make sure to have our mixed drinks made with Boru, simply because it's the best tasting vodka out there! It's never a dull moment when Boru's in the mix! |
